The Union of Teaching & Accomplishment Publishing Group is comprised of a few monks, living and studying at Sera Je Monastery in south India, as well as their assoicates. We are studying full-time as part of the geshe curriculum and use our free time to produce these texts. Our only aims for these texts are to help share the Buddhadharma with as many people as possible.
The texts that we edit and produce Tibetan-language critical editions of are mostly texts that are useful for study but are not easily available, especially not in book format and not in critical editions.
The texts we translate are most often aimed at practice, not theory, and help us strive for the union of study and practice, or of teaching and accomplishment. Truthfully, though, it really comes down to which texts motivate us enough that we feel not only that translating them will be of benefit but also that we will be engaged enough to produce the quality of translation we expect if it is to be shared with others.
