Downloads

Thanks to generous sponsors we have been able to offer the printed copies of our finished publications free of charge to thousands upon thousands of monastics, scholars, and devotees. All of our digital copies are similarly free of charge, and you are welcome to use them in any way you see fit that is in accordance with the Dharma. If you do intend to print or distribute these in any way the only things we ask are, most importantly, that you do not make any profit off of these texts or these digital materials in any way, and also that you credit our publishing group for providing the source files, so interested parties can trace the editorial history of the texts.

Critical Editions

Our primary activity has been to produce critical-edition versions of Tibetan language texts that are important for those engaging in traditional studies but which are difficult to find copies of, especially critical edition copies. For these texts we have collected all available editions, whether they be woodblock prints or previous publications, and painstakingly compared them, resulting in a final text that we feel is the most accurate version available. All of the discrepancies between editions are noted in footnotes.

Translations

It’s impossible not to be constantly translating one thing or another. However it is uncommon that we find the time to produce translations that we are confident in publishing, as the editing process can be time consuming for even a short text. With that said we have managed to produce a few texts, mostly various prayers and other short practice texts, that we have felt were beneficial and we wanted to make them available. As we are newly launching this site we do not have a lot of material yet to offer, but we will be updating this as we are able.
